Ondřej Málek graduated from the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen with a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations – Territorial Studies, specializing in British and American Studies. He then completed a Master’s degree in International Relations – Security Studies, focusing on International Security. He also spent four semesters as an exchange student in Northern Italy at the University of Pavia, where he attended to Master’s program World Politics and International Relations. Ondřej’s work at EVC mainly focuses on U.S. relations and foreign policy in the Indo-Pacific theater and issues of strategic competition between the United States and People’s republic of China. Among other volunteer activities, he has worked as an ambassador for the international educational project Football for Development and performs as an athlete with the Slack Show group. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, playing music, traveling, and outdoor sports, in particular rock climbing and slacklining.
