Indo-Pacific Tea with Justyna Szczudlik

On September 16, 2025, EVC held another discussion over a cup of tea, this time with Polish expert and sinologist Justyna Szczudlik who discussed ‘How China’s lack of a new world order vision manifests its cognitive warfare’.
 
Justyna Szczudlik is the Deputy Head of Research, Head of Asia-Pacific Programme and China analyst at the Polish Institute of International Affairs (PISM). Justyna is also a member of the EVC’s global advisory board.
 
She holds a PhD in Political Science from the University of Warsaw (2015), an MA in Chinese Studies from the University of Warsaw (2008) and an MA in Political Science from the University of Wroclaw (2002). She studied Chinese language at the College of Advanced Chinese Training, Beijing Language and Culture University (2005-2006), Beijing and at the National Cheng-chi University in Taipei (2013). Her research focuses on China’s foreign policy, especially China-Central and Eastern Europe relations including China-Poland relations, as well as Cross-Strait relations.
