In December 2023, EVC Director Jakub Janda spoke at 7Starlake “Beyond Conflict: Global Renewal through Tech Strategies Post-Ukraine War” Forum in Taipei.

Director Janda was joined by renowned experts such as Ting-sheng Lee, Deputy Chief Executive Officer at INDSR, Martin Ting, the CEO of 7Starlake, Guermantes „G-Man“ Lailari, Lt Col of USAF (ret) and visiting scholar at NCCU $ NDU in Taiwan and Yurii Poita, International Scholar-in-Residence at INDSR. Together, they spoke on the possible Taiwan scenarios, Lessons for Taiwan from the Russian war in Ukraine and AI diplomacy to sustainable innovations.
