In late April, the team of Information Defense Hub co-organized the Czech part of the advocacy trip and campaign “Voices of the Occupation” run by the Ukrainian NGO, Platform for political prisoners. The Platform, established by former Kremlin prisoners like film director Oleh Sentsov or scientist Ihor Kozlovskiy, advocates for Ukrainian citizens unlawfully detained by Russia. In Prague, the IDH team organized for Ukrainian visitors meetings with key Czech institutions and individuals, government officials, NGOs, and coordinated their participation in public discussions and media briefings.
Moreover, the IDH team, together with the Platform, took part in the conference titled “Searching for justice for Ukraine Jus & Bellum in contexts,” hosted by the Czech Parliament and attended by speakers from both Chambers of the Czech Parliament as well as of Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada.
