On 3-4 July 2025, EVC Director visited Manila to provide briefings to Philippine governmental and military agencies.
This visit was facilitated by EU-led project ESIWA (Enhancing security cooperation in and with Asia) which organized a seminar on protecting critical infrastructure in Manila.
EVC Director also provided briefings for Deputy Chief of Staff for Plans Major-General Rommel Cordova, spokesperson of the Philippine Coast Guard for the West Philippine Sea Commodore Jay Tarriela and teams of Department of Foreign Affairs and Department of National Defense.
The briefings focused on the recent EVC Table-Top Exercises simulating regional contingency, and possible options for future cooperation.
