Digital Security Training Program at the Czech Hub in Taiwan

On October 19, 2024, the European Values Center for Security Policy partnered with the Asia Centre to host Digital Security Training for Civil Society Organizations at the Czech Hub in Taiwan. The program brought together Taiwan-based civil society leaders to address rising digital threats targeting their work and communities.

Recognizing the vulnerabilities of these leaders to cyber-attacks, misinformation, and hate speech, the training provided practical tools and essential skills to secure their online activities and protect their digital assets. This initiative is part of Asia Centre’s broader regional effort to support 1000 individuals across twelve Asia-Pacific countries, including Taiwan, who are at risk of online threats.

Through programs like this, the European Values Center for Security Policy remains committed to supporting local grassroots organizations and strengthening digital resilience through proactive capacity-building efforts.
