On November 24, 2025, the EVC Taiwan Office team received a Danish parliamentary delegation at the Czech Hub in Taiwan. Four legislators participating in the visit received a briefing on the current state of whole-of-society resilience-building efforts in Taiwan and civil society cooperation between Taiwan and Europe.
The cross-party delegation is chaired by Kasper Roug, Vice-Chair of the Danish Parliament’s Taiwan Friendship Group. It includes members of the center-left Social Democrats and the far-right Danish People’s Party.
Taiwan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that this visit will help the delegation gain a better understanding of Taiwan’s current political and economic development, the situation in the Taiwan Strait, and regional security, thereby promoting deeper friendly cooperation between Taiwan and Denmark in various fields. At EVC, we are proud to realize the mission of “Czechia as a Hub” and showcase positive lessons from Taiwan’s engagements with Czechia as a source of inspiration for other European countries.
