EVC co-hosts NATO-Japan Crisis Simulation at Osaka Expo

On 7-8 August 2025, EVC Director Jakub Janda participated at a conference hosted at the Nordic Pavilion of the Osaka Expo on „NATO’s Contribution to Preserving Peace & Stability„.

The two-day conference focused on role of NATO in the Indo-Pacific and specific areas of cooperation with Japan, including support for Ukrainian defence against the Russian aggression.

This conference was also attended by two Japanese members of EVC Global Advisory Board – Atsuko Higashino and Akira Igata.

EVC and RCAST (University of Tokyo) co-hosted a Crisis Simulation for 60 Japanese and international students to enhance their understanding of global security threats.
