Security club of Czech business

Regular meetings of political leaders, top figures from the Czech and international security community, and representatives of Czech companies who want to stay informed about security threats and contribute to Czech resilience.

The meetings are now led by Tomáš Kopečný, former government’s representative for Ukraine and previously Deputy Minister of Defense for Industrial Cooperation. Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale aggression, he has participated in negotiations at the highest European and alliance levels, bringing practical experience from Ukraine to Czech companies.

– directors of police, intelligence, and cybersecurity institutions
– Czech negotiators in European trade policy, specialists in Chinese economic and technological pressure

 

CLUB ACTIVITIES

Members of the Security Club of Czech Business are regularly invited to expert discussions and social events organized by the European Values Center and its partners, and they also regularly receive up-to-date and often non-public information through closed communication groups.

 

REGULAR MORNING MEETINGS

Regular meetings are held approximately once a month in representative premises in Prague 1. Topics include legislative settings for the protection of critical infrastructure and other sectors of the economy, understanding the responsibilities and capacities of individual components of the Integrated Rescue System, and sharing experiences from companies that face complex risks on a long-term basis.
