On February 21, 2024, EVC Team attended a symposium called \u201eTowards a New Era of Japan – Central and Eastern Europe Collaboration: Economic Security, Counter-Disinformation, and Taiwan\u201c, organized by University of Tokyo\u2019s The Research Center for Advanced Science and Technology (RCAST). On the panel, EVC\u2019s director Jakub Janda spoke about the economic security in CEE. Head of Red Watch Program, EVC sinologist Zuzana Ko\u0161kov\u00e1 spoke on disinformation and influence operations in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) and Head of Taiwan Office and analyst Marcin Jerzewski talked about CEE’s approach to Taiwan.
The presentations were followed by a Q&A with the audience and experts present.<\/p>

The symposium, held on the University\u2019s campus in Tokyo, Japan, was opened by opening Remarks by Masakazu Sugiyama the director of RCAST. Special Remarks were delivered by H.E.
