Veronika Krátka Špalková holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and European Studies and a master’s degree in International Relations and European Studies from Palacký University in Olomouc. She completed one year of her master’s degree at the University of Helsinki, where she focused mainly on political philosophy and political participation in Russia. She currently acts as a PhD student in the field of Political Science at Palacký Univerity and focuses on the research of propaganda and disinformation. She joined the European Values Security Center three years ago, first as an intern and gradually worked her way up to the position of analyst she holds today. She works as an analyst in the specialized Kremlin Watch program, where she is primarily responsible for monitoring the Czech disinformation scene.
