Stanij joined the European Values in October 2017 as a Kremlin Watch intern, for which he now serves as Non-Resident Junior Fellow being located in Berlin. His interests range from Russian foreign policy in general to the Kremlin’s information operations and networks of influence in particular in Germany. In November 2017, Stanij graduated from the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s course in “Global Studies – A European Perspective.” For the first year of the program he studied at the University of Wroclaw in Poland and completed his studies at the University of Leipzig in Germany. Furthermore, Stanij holds a bachelor’s degree in political science with a minor in psychology. He is bilingual German-Upper Sorbian, proficient in English and has solid command of Polish and Russian.
