František Marčík

František Marčík has been working as an analyst and researcher for Prague based think tank Glopolis, Czech Radio, Institute of Circular Economy, Modern Energy Union, and The Alliance for Energy Self-sufficiency with focus on environmental, climate, and energy policies. He also served as a secretary of Prague City Council committee for legislation, public administration, anticoruption policy and ICT and managed an off-grid pub on top of a mountain. As a strong advocate of democracy he co-initiated the petition for renaming the plaza in front of the The Russian embassy in Prague on Boris Nemtsov Square after to honour the Russian opposition politician who was murdered in 2015.
