Andrea Michalcová is Deputy Director for Programs and Operations of the European Values Center for Security Policy (EVC). She began collaborating with the EVC in 2013, her activities primarily consisted of project management. Since the autumn of 2016, she has worked as a project manager organizing a number of successful events, notably series of STRATCOM SUMMITs (now EUROPEAN VALUES SUMMIT), which have been attended by over 400 participants from more than 30 countries. In February 2018, she became Deputy Director and attended briefings and led meetings on EVC’ activities in Washington D.C., Brussels and other European capitals. She has conducted the James S. Denton‘ Fellowship organized by CEPA – Center for European and Policy Analysis during the fall 2019 in Washington, D.C. She earned her MA from the Faculty of Law at the University of Salamanca in Spain. She also has experience in the private sector, having worked for the American IT company IBM. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
