Khrystyna Rybachok

Khrystyna Rybachok is a professional with experience in Ukrainian reforms, EU integration, and sustainability within Ukrainian Civil Society Organizations, international organizations, and Ukrainian public administration. Until September 2022 she worked as a sustainable cities campaign leader with CEE Bankwatch. Her advocacy and research work focuses on international finance, sustainability, gender, and human rights. Khrystyna spent three years leading the flagship project Women Empowerment in Public Administration and as a board member at the Professional Government Association (PGA). She also has two years of experience in Ukrainian public administration gained on the strategic planning and change management team under the Ministry for Communities and Territories Development, where she supported the establishment of strategic planning systems. Khrystyna holds a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy and a master’s degree in philosophy from the National University Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, as well as a master’s degree in political science from Central European University. She has received additional training and accreditations in sustainable public management and finance, public policy analysis, non-violent communication, and social-media campaigning. Her published research spans the areas of gender equality, local and international financial analysis, urbanism, LGBTI issues in Ukraine, and sustainability in Ukraine’s public and private sectors. Khrystyna is fluent in Ukrainian, English, and Russian. At the EVC’s Information Defense Hub, Khrystyna focuses on reconstruction, sustainability, and gender issues in Ukraine.
